Government Administration concentration on Legal Studies minoring in Political Science from
Christopher Newport University. Incident Command System Certified. National Incident
Management Systems Certified. Council on Police Training (COPT) Certified Instructor.
FBI/LEDA Law Enforcement Executive Training.
Leadership experience includes: Police Chief at Trinity Washington University. Police
Captain in charge of the Patrol Services Bureau at Howard University. The first female Police
Officer to be promoted to Lieutenant at Delaware State University Department of Public Safety.
Strategic Planner and Professional Administrator in Public Safety, IT security and law
enforcement matters with demonstrated success in developing and managing staff and
programs to achieve organizational goals using best practices and cost effective methodologies;
Expert with Public Safety communications and Policy development. Adept at building,
motivating, and managing productive teams with excellent presentation, leadership, problem-
solving, and technology evaluation skills.
